Easter At Henfield
April 5th, 2010
Showing little in the way of respectful observation for religious ceremony and reflection, we headed to Henfield for an Easter Sunday shred. Great little concrete park, nice use of space: couple of mellow hubbas, a curved bank, wide quarter-pipe, a rail, and a manny pad / ledge – so something for everyone. Sweet. Marcus Payne was determined to nail this fs flip to tails, and after a couple of attempts pulled it out of the bag on literally the last frame left on my bulging flash card.

Murray Gets Animated!

Murray Cross must’ve eaten 3 Shredded Wheat for brekkie, because that dude was on FIRE today. 5 banging sequences shot in as many minutes. FS Flip to Tail Stall. BOLTS!

Getting A Wedgie
March 15th, 2010
Friday night saw a support event for Southsea Skatepark held at the Wedgewood Rooms. The King Kong bash featured some cool bands, amongst them were the brilliant Milk Kan and the awesome Ruskins (with guest appearance by Cook from Skins). Also, there was some live breakdancing action and an insanely tight mini-ramp, featuring the skating talent from the Bored and Herbal teams. Utter beer drenched chaos was the form for the session, a wayward board took out one of my flashes (bastard!), but it was a total blast. Jon Sekulla rips it up in a very tight space.

The Return Of Street Sundays (yay!)
March 7th, 2010
Banging street session at a spot with a couple of decent sized ledges and a somewhat complicated to build manny pad. Murray Cross nailing a sweeeeet hardflip over the ledge.
